PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

No matter your role in the public construction industry in Louisiana, knowing the Louisiana Public Bid Law (R.S. 38:2211-2296) is critical to successfully delivering public construction projects. Owners, architect-engineers, contractors, CM/PMs, testing labs, and others working with public clients must stay current on the changes in the Public Bid Law each year and must also understand how these changes affect their projects and clients. This knowledge is critical for public contracting and procurement, as well as bid protests and contractual disputes.

This meeting will provide you with an enhanced understanding of the recent changes and developments in the Public Bid Law resulting from this year’s Legislative Session as well as how these updates have been upheld in recent case law.
